IL LIBRO

When humankind read destiny in the stars, young woman of extraordinary beauty and thirst for knowledge was born in ancient Greece, in the land once called Thrace, 2,650 years ago.
She bore many names — Doricha, Rhodopis, Rosetta, the Face of the Rose, the Rose of Samos and Memphis, and, finally, the Queen of Egypt — but the world remembers her as Cinderella.
She grew up on the island of Samos, alongside the great mathematician Pythagoras. She met Aesop, the inventor of fables, her companion in captivity,
and Sappho, the greatest poetess of antiquity, who immortalized her in verses of fire. Later, in Egypt, she met the Pharaoh of Upper and Lower Egypt, Amasis,
thanks to a golden sandal. Thus she became Queen of Egypt. The Great Historian Herodotus wrote that many Greeks believed one of the pyramids of Giza had been built
for Rhodopis The True Story of Cinderella is only the dawn of a twelve-volume journey — The DNA of Fairy Tales, which rises from the sands of time to unveil
the real people behind Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland,
Peter Pan, King Arthur, Merlin, and the forgotten Fairies, Witches, and Queens who once walked the earth and became legends.
The legend of Cinderella still lives today in more than three hundred versions across the world — beyond time and space, crossing cultures, languages, and colors.
If nations at war could understand that we are all brothers and sisters, loving the same stories because they represent our shared humanity,
they would rediscover not what divides us — but what unites us. And peace would be possible.

THE SECRET ORIGIN OF FAIRY TALES — FINALLY REVEALED!

An epic adventure in twelve volumes. “In this extraordinary tale, the author interweaves a marvelous mosaic of sources to compose a rich, luminous, and brilliant narrative:
the true story of the fairy tales we all heard as children. With her encyclopedic knowledge of history, literature, and psychoanalytic theory, Isabelle Adriani brings them back to the heart of the ancient world.
The result is as fascinating as Cinderella, and as enchanting as her Prince.” — Professor James Clackson, Jesus College, University of Cambridge “With historical rigor and narrative passion, Isabelle Adriani unveils the true origin of Fairy Tales.”— Laura Corallo, Il Resto del Carlino “In this collection, the historian, journalist, and scholar of myths and fairy tales guides us on an enthralling journey that reveals how the magic of legends was born from real people who never stopped believing in their destiny.” — Antonio Pascotto, Journalist, Author, and Senior Editor, TgCom24 “A unique research, where history, philology, anthropology, and esotericism intertwine to uncover ancient memories disguised as dreams.” — Dr. Paolo Nicola Corallini Garampi, Physician and scholar of ancient symbology
